By using a renewable material like wood in this product, we avoid using fossil or finite materials. By using particle board with a slice of wood as top layer instead of solid wood only in this product, we use less wood per product. That way, we take better care of resources. That is why by 2030, we want all materials in our products to be recycled or renewable, and sourced in responsible ways. Renewable materials, as opposed to fossil and finite materials, come from living sources that can be regenerated at the same rate as they are used up. The cotton in this product is grown with less water, less chemical fertilizers and less chemical pesticides, while increasing profit margins for the farmers. That way, we lower our environmental impact.
