In line with the IKEA global approach, IKEA Indonesia runs a social initiative focused on helping to reduce the spread the Corona virus in West Java. This social initiative aims to help those who are exposed to Coronavirus.
Through the Blue Bag Project: Response to Covid-19, IKEA Indonesia donate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) that can be used by those at high risk of Coronavirus.
The Blue Bag Project: Response to Covid-19 is a joint collaboration with the Swedish Embassy and the Provincial Government of West Java in tackling the spread of the Coronavirus in Indonesia. The effort is part of IKEA vision in creating a better everyday life for the people of West Java.
To support the Blue Bag Project, for every FRAKTA carrier bag sold at the IKEA store and online from the period of 1 May to 31 July 2020, 100% of the sales will be used to provide PPE.
