Time to embrace your inner artist! Paint geometric shapes and define the outlines using sticky tape.
Creating shapes and clusters
Each individual picture isn’t so important, it’s the whole that creates impact. Try hanging pictures so tightly together that they are seen as a whole
Go outside, pick some lush greenery, frame it and put it on your walls. For the framing in this display, the backs of two frames were removed and the glass put together.
Clip it up for an easy change
Step away from traditional methods of hanging art and a world of possibilities opens up. Put up a wire with clips to hang your masterpieces on.
On a ledge
Use different depths of ledge. Here, the lower ledges are actually shelves. Play with the proportions of the art, layer it and change it as often as you like.
Turn the whole wall into a piece of art
From a collection of black and white photos to pages from your favourite book, make your wall into a collage.

Then visit seven very personal homes with We Love Home’s art director and lead stylist Hans Blomquist to see how others have done it. Interestingly, they all claim you don’t need a lot of money to create a personal home.
